108 Shiv Mandir
About 2 miles from the town, at Nawab Hat, is a group of 108 Siva Lingam tabples which stand in a rectangle planted with trees and containing some well kept tanks; these temples were build and consecrated in October 1788 by the Maharani Adhiswari Bishnu Kumari Bibi, wife of Tilak Chandre and motehr of Tej Chandre. This series of temples is exactly similar to that of Kalna, og which a full probably intended to Gurad there is the spacious fort of Talitgarh which formed the frefuge of the Bardhaman family and its retainers during the maratha invasions of the 18th century.

Membership Fee: Rs. 500/yearBeing a member, you are entitled for:
- Four Rudrayana on the auspicious days such as Shiaratri, Gurupurnima, Raspurnima and Rakhipurnima will be performed by renowned priest in your name or in the name of one of your family members. Gotra details to be provided.
- Prasad of Shivaratri puja will be delivered to your home by the Mandir board.
- Free Entry to the Mandir premises to you and one person accompanying you.
- Membership card (with your photo) of 108 Shiv Mandir Bhakt Mandal will be provided.
